From Report to Quote: Our Fast and Effective Repair Process
In the world of vehicle and industrial unit support, speed and efficiency are key. Our customers count on us to set in motion a process that arrives at solutions quickly. In this article, we walk you through our operational process, step by step, to ensure that downtime is kept to the minimum possible.
- Fault Reporting
It all starts when the customer contacts us to report a fault. This is the first, important phase. During this contact, the customer provides all possible information about the problem and, if available, sends us a photo of the label of the faulty component. The nameplate is very important because it is like an identification card of the unit and allows us to quickly identify the specific component and begin the service process.
- Preliminary Agreements
After receiving the report, we make an agreement with the customer to organize the collection or shipment of the defective component to our workshop. Time is of the essence and we do everything we can to ensure the part gets to us as quickly as possible.
- In the Workshop
When the faulty component arrives in our workshop, its first stage is the identification phase. Here, we take a series of detailed photos of the incoming component, which serve as a reference and help document its initial conditions.
- Disassembly and Diagnosis
We move on to the disassembly phase. The component is disassembled and carefully analyzed to understand and identify the cause of the breakage.
- Detailed Technical Report
Based on the diagnosis we create a detailed technical report. This document contains a complete description of the problem encountered, the parts to be replaced and the actions to be taken to restore full functionality. The technical report is a crucial step to guarantee maximum transparency to the customer.
- Issuance of the Quote
Finally, based on the technical report, we issue a repair estimate, which includes the associated costs and an estimate of delivery times.
Our goal is to ensure that this process occurs as quickly as possible. Every step is optimized to minimize downtime, allowing our customers to get back into action as soon as possible.
