Technical training on Allison transmissions: professional development for B.C. ERRE technicians

Continuing technical training on Allison transmissions is essential to ensuring customers receive consistently up-to-date and qualified assistance, maintenance, and overhaul services.
For this reason, in February, our technicians Alessandro Pisani (Technical Manager) and Cristian Tassi attended an intensive 7-day course dedicated to Allison automatic transmissions.
The training focused specifically on the Allison 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000 series transmissions, which are widely used in numerous applications, including road vehicles, specialty machinery, and off-highway applications.
Thanks to this technical development, the B.C. ERRE team continues to strengthen its expertise in the diagnostics, maintenance, and overhaul of Allison automatic transmissions.

Theoretical training on Allison transmissions
The first part of the course was held in the classroom and was dedicated to an in-depth study of the operation of Allison transmissions.
The theoretical sessions covered several key technical aspects, including:
- the operating principles of Allison automatic transmissions
- the operation of electronic and hydraulic systems
- technical updates and improvements introduced on various models
- the use of new Allison diagnostic systems for fault analysis.
This type of training allows technicians to improve their ability to diagnose and repair automatic transmissions, reducing downtime and increasing the reliability of repairs.

Practical training: disassembly and overhaul of Allison transmissions
The theoretical training was followed by practical workshop training, conducted directly with Allison technicians.
During this operational phase, participants were able to work directly on real transmissions, performing:
- complete disassembly and technical analysis of an Allison 3000 series transmission
- disassembly and analysis of an Allison 2000 series transmission
- reassembly of the transmissions with the relevant adjustments and adjustments
- use of specific Allison tools used in official service
- test bench testing using the new Allison diagnostic tools.
This hands-on experience represents a fundamental step in developing advanced skills in the overhaul and maintenance of Allison transmissions.

Continuous training to ensure qualified service
In the automatic transmission sector for commercial vehicles and specialty machinery, ongoing training is essential to maintaining high quality standards.
Through technical training courses such as this, B.C. ERRE strengthens its commitment to providing customers with:
- specialized assistance for Allison transmissions
- advanced diagnostics
- professional overhaul and maintenance services
- constantly updated knowledge of technological developments in the industry.
The goal is to offer an increasingly reliable and efficient service to all companies that use Allison transmissions in their on- and off-highway applications.
