B.C. ERRE was founded in the late 1970s by former employees of Astra, the Piacenza-based manufacturer of special vehicles for mining (e.g. dumpers) and oil industries. Taking advantage of the skills acquired in the sale of spare parts and after sales service, the founders have brought B.C. ERRE to become official Service Center for ASTRA vehicles, GENERAL MOTORS engines and ALLISON trasmissions.
In the early 1990s, B.C. ERRE became also authorised Service Center for American multinational company CLARK, manufacturing company of transmissions for special vehicles. Throughout the following decades, CLARK acquired many other well-known brands like Hurth, Spicer, Comaxle, Sige, Kirkstall, Italcardano, Brevini Riduttori, Graziano, Fairfield, giving birth to DANA Group. Thanks to these acquisitions, DANA group has become the world’s leader manufacturing company of axles, automatic transmissions for special vehicles (e.g. earth-moving, construction, agricultural and portual machines), from a wide range of manufacturers, such as:
